For the first time ever the Call of Duty series have given players a little freedom of choice in the storyline. At a few key points throughout the game you get to make a decision that will affect the over all out come.

It’s not just small changes either, like whether or not a certain NPC stays in the story. But your choice affects the way the story will end. Who will be alive, who will be dead. What happens the drones, what happens Menendez, (the bad guy) and if certain missions will be playable or not.

The full list of missions and choices are below, but I have to warn you now, there are spoilers there.

Mission – Pyrrhic Victory

Decision – Rescue Frank Woods.

Consequence – This occurrence always happens.

Mission – Celerium

Decision – Recover the Celerium device.

Consequence – This occurrence always happens.

Mission – Old Wounds

Decision – Resist killing Kravchenko out of hand.

Consequence – Reveals clue about a mole (or traitor), and spawns the file item in Time and Fate. Otherwise, the lead may not appear.

Strikeforce – Shipwreck

Decision – Clear the Strikeforce Mission.

Consequence – Completing the Strikeforce Mission will yield more positive outcomes in the campaign.

Strikeforce – FOB Spectre

Decision – Clear the Strikeforce Mission

Consequence – Completing the Strikeforce Mission will yield more positive outcomes in the campaign.

Mission – Time and Fate

Decision –Find the folder about the mole in the Cocaine Bunker.

Consequence – Woods will suspect something is amiss during Suffer with Me.

Mission – Fallen Angel

Decision – Record enough dialogue about the secret meeting.

– Avoid the fiery plume near the mission’s extraction point.

Consequence – Unlocks the Strikeforce Mission Dispatch.

– If the fire is not evaded (drive all the way to the right), Harper will be injured.

Strikeforce – IED

Decision – Clear the Strikeforce Mission.

Consequence – Completing the Strikeforce Mission will yield more positive outcomes in the campaign.

Mission – Karma

Decision – Retrieve the hostage and neutralize the kidnapper before they escape.

Consequence – Failing to rescue the hostage now, will make some events worse later. However, it unlocks the Strikeforce Mission Second Chance. The kidnapper, DeFalco, will also appear later in Achilles Veil, Odysseus and Judgment Day if the objetive is failed.

Strikeforce – Second Chance

Decision – Clear the Strikeforce Mission.

Consequence – This mission only becomes available if the kidnapping was successful in Karma. Your strike team simply recovers the hostage before you commit to the next mission, Suffer with Me.

Mission – Suffer with Me

Decision – Shoot the target fatally in the head or another location (the limb).

Consequence –This event will affect the ending cut-scene.

Strikeforce – Dispatch

Decision – Clear the Strikeforce Mission.

Consequence – Completing the Strikeforce Mission will yield more positive outcomes in the campaign. For completing them all, your final mission will be easier by the elimination (or reduction) of enemy sharpshooters.

Mission – Achilles Veil

Decision – Agent Farid or his handler ends up getting killed.

Consequence – If Farid is killed, the cyberworm attack will be more serious. However, Mason will have a combat ally for the rest of the missions. If Farid is left alive, Mason will have to go into battle alone for the rest of the campaign, but events are generally more positive.

Mission – Odysseus

Decision –Kill or injure Admiral Briggs Killing the admiral will bring on graver consequences for the Obama.

Consequence – Merely shooting a limb will let him recover and save the vessel from complete destruction. (If you wait long enough, you can avoid the choice of shooting Briggs, ultimately saving his life)

Mission – Cordis Die

Decision – Protect the Madame President.

Consequence – This occurrence always happens.

Mission – Judgment Day

Decision –Kill or capture Menendez

Consequence –Capturing the target will make for a more negative ending (although Jimmy Kimmel will make a cameo in this ending); killing him is personally gratifying.
